2. Refunds Due to Horse Racing-Specific Events

Refunds may be granted in the following horse racing-specific scenarios:

2.1. Withdrawn Horses

  • If a horse is withdrawn before the race starts, bets on that horse:
    • Will be refunded in full for single-horse bets (Win, Place, Show).
    • Will be voided or subject to deductions (as per official Rule 4 deductions) in multiple selections (e.g., Accumulators, Each-Way bets).
    • If a race operates under a No Refund Policy for Withdrawals, such conditions will be clearly stated before betting.

2.2. Race Abandonment & Postponement

  • If a race is abandoned before the official start, all bets will be void and refunded.
  • If a race is postponed to a later date within 48 hours, bets will stand unless the event is completely canceled.
  • If an entire race meeting (multiple races) is abandoned, bets will be refunded accordingly.

2.3. Voided Races or Incorrect Results

  • If a race is declared void by racing authorities, bets will be refunded in full.
  • If a result is incorrectly posted due to human or system error, refunds will be issued to affected bets once the correction is made.

2.4. Dead Heats

  • In the event of a dead heat (tie between two or more horses), winnings will be divided equally between the winners
  • If dead heat rules impact a placed bet payout, relevant deductions will apply.

2.5. Betting Errors & Non-Runner Adjustments

  • If a bet is placed on a non-runner (withdrawn before the final declarations), it will be refunded in full.
  • If a Rule 4 deduction applies, the odds will be adjusted rather than a full refund.

  • If a user’s deposit fails but funds are deducted, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days upon verification.
